This past Sunday, March 16th was my Grandma Dorothy's 90 birthday! My family planned an amazing party for her at the Red Barn in Los Osos. It was so nice to have such a huge turnout and to see my grandma so happy with all the family and friends she loves dearly. My family was able to get an electronic message at Los Osos's major intersection, I had to snap a shot of Lil Ed! We love you Grandma Dorothy!
Here are my boys smiling for the camera as we are enjoying our night together!

Diego at 5 months old-so precious!

The first day of Spring..............

As hard as it was to adjust I love the fact that by the time I get home it's still light outside. We're able to enjoy the great outdoors. The following pictures are Diego and Ed playing on the play structure at home..................................

Here is our newest addition to the cousin Klan. This is Kailin who was born January 21st weighing in at 9lbs 2 ounces. Kweeks who is Big Ed's little sister is the proud mother of both Kristen and Kailin!

Here is Diego already acting like daddy with his shades

Here is Tia Rosie (Big Ed's other sister) with Lil Ed, Diego and Kiersten at Adriana's-aka-Buelo's 50th birthday bash!

We managed to surprise Ed's mom for her 5oth and here she is doing what she love most being with all her grand kids, RoseMarie we missed you!

And here is Stephen..................................

For those of you that didn't know we had a rough week a few weeks back. Diego ended up in the ER and was diagnosed with RSV. Poor guy had to do breathing treatments and use an inhaler (WOW), he was definitely a trooper. Then Big Ed ended up in the ER diagnosed with Influenza B. In all the years I've know Big Ed which is 11 now I have never seen him so sick. It was a very long week, Lil Ed and I managed to stay healthy (I think it's cause we got Flu shots) and we're all doing well!

Here is our Big Boy hitting 16 pounds at 5 months old and holding his own bottle! Don't mess with his food. At 4 1/2 months we started him on solids because he was starving and loves his meals which include sweet potatoes, carrots, oatmeal, bananas and don't forget the peas!

Big Ed finished his basketball coaching season and we had an end of the season party. We got to enjoy our time with the teammates and their family members and passed out trophies. Lil Ed was so proud of his season especially his dad being the coach.

This is by far the most precious picture. Here is Big Ed commending Lil Ed on a great season and to see them so proud makes me very happy!

And here is more.........................

Back to work and SUPER BUSY

Well, it's back to reality for me! I started work on the 14th of January, and I have adjusted well. Diego goes to a home daycare here in Arroyo Grande ran by a husband and wife. He has adjusted well and each morning it's such a blessing to see Diego smile when he sees Kamber. There is another baby 2 days older then him named Cali. Both babies get tons of attention and we're very happy to have found such a loving home for Diego during the day. I must add, the first day I was a complete mess but within a couple of days I quit calling every couple of hours.

Another big deal for Diego is we found a fabulous doctor at Cottage Hospital who specializes in pediatric GI and has figured out why Diego screamed each time he had a bowel. We are now on a special formula which can only be ordered at the pharmacy but he is doing amazing. Thank goodness for Dr. Keltz and his loving staff. As for the rest of the family, they're doing well. We are in the last few games of basketball and then moving on to baseball. Big Ed was a very patient coach and the boys, especially Lil Ed, did well. I've attached some photos of the family and more to come after our trip to Disneyland. We're of to see Micky and Minnie with my family. Check back soon!

These times are so special to see-Diego loves it when his big brother reads to him.

For all that Diego has been through he is by far the happist baby ever. You can be having a bad day and all you have to do is say "Diego" and boom this is his reponse!

Last week Diego found his thumb but munches way to hard and gets so frusterated, but it's very cute!

By far this is what makes being parents so special; capturing these moments.

We're off to Disneyland!
